Compass Associates attended the 23rd National Care Awards and were pleased to once again be an associate sponsor for the eighth year running!

With the 2021 National Care Awards returning for its 44th year once again as an in-person event, the Compass Associates Elderly Care Team was honoured to attend. It was fantastic for both old and new members of the team to attend and network with new and familiar faces.

About the National Care Awards

These awards are organised by leading social care publication Caring Times Magazine. The Awards were created to celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector. Such as highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to provide consistently outstanding care.

This year’s special guest host is Angela Barnes

Once again, the event was hosted by Caring Times and located at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in London. The guest host speaker for this year’s event was stand-up comedian, Angela Barnes. Although Angela’s current career might be very different to those attending the National Care Awards, Angela’s career background is within the health and social care sector. Before becoming a comedian in 2009, Angela trained as a nurse and later worked in mental health and social care with people in hostels and those suffering with substance abuse.

Compass Associates proudly sponsored the Care Operations / Area Manager Award for the eighth year in a row. We would like to congratulate Debbie Inkersole from Canford Healthcare for winning this category for all her hard work and being well deserved. We were also proud photo booth sponsors of the awards as well. Abigail Bada, Head of Corporate Services at Compass Executives (One of Compass Associates’ partner brands), presented the Care Operations / Area Manager Award on behalf of all Compass brands.

The Compass Associates Elderly Care Team very much enjoyed attending and all had positive things to say.
