Our Consultant Spotlight Q&A Series highlights our consultants across each of the three divisions within the Compass Associates brand. The latest article in this series introduces Georgia Arnold from the Specialist Care division.

What is your role and how long have you worked at Compass?

I started at Compass Associates two years ago as a Trainee Consultant in Elderly Care. I am now a Senior Consultant in Specialist Care.

What markets do you cover?

I recruit nurses and allied health professionals for clinical positions in the South of England, specialising in mental health, complex care, substance misuse, and specialist education.

What advice would you give for job seekers?

When preparing for job interviews, it’s important to thoroughly read and understand the job description to identify the required skills and experience. Additionally, researching the company’s website can provide valuable information to help you tailor your responses during the interview. Take some time to review your CV and think about potential questions the interviewer may ask. Preparing examples from your past experiences that demonstrate your qualifications can also be helpful during the interview.

What are the current changes you foresee within the sector?

Within the AHP sector, more and more candidates are leaning towards either in their own private practice or working as locum/agency professionals. This shift is posing a challenge for employers to retain permanent employees, which requires the introduction of more attractive incentives.

What are your career highlight within Compass?

Completing my Level 3 qualification has allowed me to continuously improve my skills and knowledge, leading to professional growth.
