Our Consultant Spotlight Q&A Series highlights our consultants across each of the three divisions within the Compass Associates brand. The latest article in this series introduces Katie Jones from the Healthcare division.

What is your role and how long have you worked at Compass?

I’ve been at Compass for 6 years now, starting out as a trainee consultant and progressing to Divisional Manager within our Healthcare division. I currently manage a team of ten consultants who specialise in clinical and management recruitment.

What markets do you cover?

I cover senior assignments within the team. My focus areas include primary care, community, surgical hospitals, diagnostics and women’s health. Typical assignments include Regional Directors, Director of Clinical Services and Hospital Directors.

What advice would you give to job seekers?

Take advantage of working with recruitment consultancies by exploring different opportunities with them and building relationships with organisations that they work with. Be open-minded when speaking with prospective employers as it may lead to opportunities now or potentially in the future.

Outside of work, I enjoy going to yoga and spin classes, cooking, baking and trips away with friends.
