Overview
At Compass Associates, we’re excited to collaborate with one of the UK’s leading and most respected providers of mental health and wellbeing services, offering both private and NHS-commissioned beds. Together were headhunting for a dynamic Clinical Lead for one of their specialists Eating Disorder services offering NHS commissioned beds for Adult patients suffering with an Eating Disorder diagnosis.
As the Clinical Lead, you will be a key member of the Senior Management Team at the hospital, overseeing the clinical operations of the service, including both Nursing and Therapy service lines. Additionally, you will ensure that all patients receive the highest standards of care in compliance with legislation, CQC key lines of inquiry, and corporate policies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Deputise for the Hospital Director in their absence
- You will assist in developing and implementing the hospital’s strategy in collaboration with the Hospital Director.
- You will be responsible for overseeing the performance and governance of all clinical departments
- Foster an effective, supportive, and safe working environment.
- Perform on-call duties in coordination with the broader multidisciplinary team
Location
Located on the outskirts of High Wycombe, this service provides excellent connectivity across the region, including Slough, Reading and Watford.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid NMC registration
- Extensive clinical experience working in an eating disorder setting
- A thorough understanding of statutory regulations is essential.
- Experience working in a supervisory or managerial role within a relevant clinical setting, with at least 2 years as a Ward Manager or in a comparable position.
- Experience of managing a clinical budget
- Hold a clear DBS
