Clinical Psychologist – Neuro Rehab – HCPC
Location: Liverpool
Hours: Full time permanent (35hrs/week)
Salary: £46,000 + £53,000 DOE + £6000 welcome bonus
Remit
Compass Associates is proudly working with a well-established charity, to recruit a qualified Clinical Psychologist to be based at their specialist neurorehabilitation service in Liverpool.
You’d spend 4 days/week working with adults who have cognitive problems, physical impairments, communication difficulties and challenging behaviours, due to backgrounds of acquired brain injuries or strokes. The remaining day of the week will be dedicated to working on brain injury research projects under the Clinical Director and Research Team.
You will carry out psychological and neuropsychological assessments, interpret results and formulate individualised rehabilitation plans, to support services users in their rehabilitation and regaining their independence. You’ll be part of the service’s MDT which includes Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Physiotherapists, SALTs, Rehabilitation Consultants, Psychologists and Support Workers.

The Candidate
Essential criteria:
- Recognised degree in Clinical Psychology
- HCPC registration
- Experience working within neuro rehab/adults with backgrounds of brain injuries or stroke
