Compass Associates working with a valued client in their recruitment of an RGN/RMN Regional Support Manager. The client operates a portfolio of luxury elderly care homes across the UK and is seeking someone to work closely with the Regional Director is supporting their homes across the South East of England. This is an exciting time to join an organisation that is recruiting to help strengthen their regional teams due to expansion. This role will require travel across the South East covering areas such as East Sussex, Kent and London.
As a Regional Support Manager you will there as a support for a portfolio of elderly nursing homes and will work with the Regional Director to manage the overall performance of the region as well as leading and supporting the current Home Managers. You will also be expected to step in as a Home Manager when needed across the services. The role requires someone that can commit to the travel needed for the position with the possibility of overnight stays and being away from home.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have experience working within a similar Peripatetic/Regional Support Manager capacity or have over five years experience as a Home Manager. You will need to show you can demonstrate an exceptional history with CQC and tit would be beneficial if you have experience working within more privately funded residents. Please note that this is a clinical position, and all candidates must be a qualified nurse with an active and clean pin.
Requirements
- Experience in a similar regional support position or five years experience as a Home Manager.
- A background in elderly care home market – specifically within nursing homes.
- Must be a qualified nurse with an active pin.
- Must be able to commit to travel and overnight stays
- Driving license and own vehicle are required.
Location
This is a regional role covering areas such as Crawley, Croydon, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Eastbourne, Dartford and Guildford.
