Overview
Compass Associates is pleased to be collaborating with a rapidly expanding specialist provider of home-care services for people with complex needs across the nation. The providers are fully nurse-owned and led, leading to the provision of personalised, robust care packages that cover a range of diagnoses such as Brain Injury, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, and Cerebral Palsy, among other conditions.
After being established in 2017, the company has become well-established and are continuously developing their care provision. In order to match their significant growth, Compass Associates are collaborating with them to seek an experienced Community Complex Care Nurse to join their multi-skilled team as a Community Clinical Lead.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of complex care clients, liaise with the multidisciplinary team and provide mentorship for the care teams.
Location
The role requires hybrid working, with time spent working from home and within your remit in Cornwall.
Criteria
– A valid NMC registration – RGN / General Nurse qualified
– Experience of working within a Complex / Critical care setting (e.g. ITU, ICU, HDU) is essential, with management experience desirable
– Training in tracheostomy, ventilators and PEG feeds
– Must possess a clean UK driving licence
Shift Pattern
Mon – Fri, 40 hours per week. You will manage your own diary; however, the successful candidate will also be a part of the 6 week on-call rota (served on the phone).
Interview Process
This will be a two-stage process, with the 1st stage being an informal MS Teams conversation with the Clinical Director.
2nd stage will be a face-to-face meeting at the Head Office with either of the aforementioned parties.
Salary and Benefits
This Community Clinical Lead position pays between £40,000 and £45,000 + mileage, depending on experience and qualifications, and includes an industry-leading benefit package:
*salary increase up to £48,000 after probation period
