Remit
Compass Associates is pleased to be working with one of the UK’s leading children’s national providers providing therapy-led care and education enabling them to transition well into adulthood. Together, we are looking for a Creative Psychotherapist to overlook a regional portfolio of Specialist Residential Care Homes and Specialist Education Needs Schools in Leicestershire.
Reporting to the Clinical Director (a Psychologist) and working with the Clinical Lead (a Psychotherapist), you will be collaborating with the staff in the residential homes and schools (Home Managers, Carers etc) through consultations, meeting them monthly and as and when needed, honing through clinical therapy and processes whether it may be sleep routine or behaviour helping achieve the best outcomes for those within their care.
Location
Remote / Home Based with travel – the portfolio for the role is located in Leicestershire and Derbyshire
Work Pattern
Initially a 6 month contract (Maternity Cover) – Monday to Friday but flexible depending on candidate – can consider full time and part time
As the organisation is growing, there is a good potential for this role to go permanent.The Candidate
Essential criteria: A degree in Creative Psychotherapy and HCPC registrationPost-qualification experience working with within Mental Health or Children’s Specialist Residential Education, CAMHS servicesExperience working with children with traumaPassionate about Creative Therapy and benefits it brings to Children’s Mental HealthDriver’s License with access to own vehicle
Interview Process
1 stage via MS Teams, competency based with the Clinical Director and Clinical Lead
Salary
£35k – £38k per annum depending on experience + mileage from home to travel to the services.
