About The Role

Compass Associates are delighted to partner with a well-established and respected nursing home in the Nottingham area, which is currently seeking a Deputy Manager to join their dedicated team. This reputable care facility provides high-quality care to residents across nursing, residential, and dementia care. The ideal candidate will be an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for elderly care and a proven track record in a similar nursing home environment. As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the home and delivering outstanding care to residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home
  • Lead and motivate a dedicated team of healthcare professionals
  • Ensure the delivery of high standards of care for residents with varying needs, including dementia
  • Assist with staff development and training, fostering a positive working environmentUphold regulatory compliance and provide excellent service delivery

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a highly organised, passionate, and proactive individual who thrives both independently and as part of a team. Previous experience in managing a team in a senior care role is essential, and you should have a genuine commitment to delivering high-quality care for elderly residents. You will be a compassionate leader, dedicated to improving the lives of those in your care, and able to support the Home Manager in managing the home’s operations effectively.

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a Nursing Home or Dementia Care setting
  • A true passion for elderly care and improving residents’ quality of life
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Location

The home is conveniently located near Long Eaton town centre and is easily accessible from both Nottingham and Derby via the A52.
