Wehave the pleasure of working alongside a busy first opinion veterinary practice near Glasgow to help find a new full time, permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.Remit: We currently have 3Surgeons that are supported by 5Nurses and additional support staff. Due to ongoing success, we need a new Surgeon to join the practice and help manage the clinical case-load. We have a very diverse case load. For small animals, we will cover soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery as well as give first opinions on a variety of far more complex situations like neuro and cardiac.We’re happy for prospective applicants to have a closer look at our cases and equipment on a tour of the surgery.We also have lots of clients who look after exotic pets; not just your rabbits and small furries but reptiles, birds and all sorts of niche animals.The exotic case load is options as we know it’s not everyones bread and butter. This is a full time, permanent role where you will be required to cover on Saturdays if you are comfortable with sole charge.Part time applications can also be considered.If you are interested in having a certificate funded, or any courses paid for, we are happy to discuss what sort of support you need in practice.
