Compass Associates are exclusively partnering with a medium-sized and independently-owned business which is well-established in the social care sector and support adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs. We are recruiting a Head of Business Development who can take the lead on the organisation’s ambitious growth agenda and secure its commercial success in the future.

The Role

The Head of Business Development will be responsible for maintaining and growing the company’s external relationships to increase visibility, while overseeing a period of growth in the near future. They will develop the appeal of services and position the organisation’s offering to buyers in local authorities, before negotiating and securing placements. The successful candidate will track markets and trends, recommend new service models, and help to strategically guide the business in the future. The Head of Business Development will also collaborate with operations heads across multiple teams and be a key player in leading strategic development internally.

Applicants must be comfortable communicators with strong prioritization skills, who are able to assess tender opportunities and lead the bid process.
