We are looking for a Home Manager to run a elderly care home based in the picturesque area of Brecon, Wales. This stunning Home is in the process of getting planning permission for an outbuilding, which will add on an additional 20 beds for the home. The building is a registered grade 2 building and has recently been refurbished, giving a quaint and regal feel, whilst been modernised to ensure its residents have the best environment to live in.

Who are we looking for ?

You will either be a Home Manager who has experience of managing a residential home or, a Deputy Manager who is looking to take the next step in your career. The successful candidate will have a Registered Managers Award Level 4 and be able to evidence they have what it takes to run a successful care home in line with commercial and quality outcomes.

Being the Home Manager, you will need to showcase your ability to lead a team of multi skilled professionals including a Deputy Manager, Unit Managers, Care Assistants, Administrators, Housekeepers, Catering and Site Maintenance Personnel. You will be accountable for all residents within the home ensuring that their emotional, physical and social needs are adhered to. Whilst also ensuring that the environment is compliant with the local governing bodies.

Due to the nature of the role, it is vital for the successful person to have a flexible and dynamic approach in order to support the needs of the service.

Requirements

  • Home Manager or Deputy Manager experience
  • Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in care level 4/5 or want to learn
  • A flexible and dynamic approach
  • Passion for elderly care

Location

This home is easily commutable from the following locations Abergavenny, Sennybridge, Talgarth, Ebbw Vale, Hay-on-Wye and Merthyr Tydfil.

Summary

We are looking for a Home Manager to join our client and run their care home in the picturesque Brecon, Wales area. In return you will be compensated a salary of circa £50,000 per annum + additional benefits, which will be discussed at interview stage.
