Salary: £50,000- £55,000 per annum + performance bonus

We are looking for a Home Manager to join a fantastic care provider who operate across the UK with a portfolio inclusive of nursing, residential and dementia care homes. They are now searching for an innovative manager to join their team within a care home situated on the outskirts of Sheffield.

This role joins a service providing nursing, residential and dementia care to elderly residents. Internally, there is a strong staff team, complete with a Deputy Manager who is keen to work alongside the new Home Manager. With a settled atmosphere,

the Manager will be able to focus on improving quality across the home and develop stronger links across the community.

A previous experience of managing a care home is essential in this role, in order to build upon the foundations already in place.

The Candidate

The successful candidate could come from a clinical background or be a non-nurse with a history of managing nursing care homes. They will hold strong knowledge of CQC framework, a keen eye for quality and compliance across the home and provide a supportive, hands-on approach to staff development.

In order to be successful in the role, it’s imperative that the chosen manager is keen to bring fresh ideas into the service and work with the team in order to achieve the best possible resident care.

Requirements:

  • Previous management experience within an elderly nursing home
  • NVQ Level 5

Location

The role is commutable from: Sheffield, Staveley, Dronfield, Clay Cross, Swallownest, Crosspool, Chesterfield, Clowne, Bolsover and Killamarsh.

My client is seeking an experienced, driven manager with a background in elderly care to join a settled service. The home is an ideal position for someone who is looking to put their own stamp on a home, work closely with the staffing team and create lasting relationships with external stakeholders. In exchange, my client are offering a salary of circa £50k – £55k per annum plus performance bonus.
