Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading Fertility Clinic, located in West London, who are currently in search for a Junior Fertility Nurse / Junior Fertility Midwife to join their close-knit team. Our client is dedicated to fertility and all aspects of women’s health and are devoted to providing bespoke holistic care to their patients. Although the business is continuing to grow, they have carefully designed their clinic to have a private yet welcoming feel, and they pride themselves on their individual approach.
The Role
We are currently looking for a Registered General Nurse or Registered Midwife who is looking to progress within the Fertility industry. As this is a junior position, you are not expected to have any previous fertility experience, however, we are looking for individuals who have a real passion for IVF and women’s health and are looking to learn and develop within the industry. If you do have some Fertility experience, this will be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be involved throughout the patient’s journey and will be responsible for patient care, information counselling, preparing theatres for a range of procedures (including egg retrieval, embryo transfer, cervical dilsurgicalsperm retrieval and gynaecological procedures), as well as assisting in theatres and recovery. Working closely with the nursing team, you will help deliver the highest standard of care, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the clinic.
We are looking for a polite and professional individual as you will be a key part of the patient’s journey, ensuring they are educated and supported throughout. Our client places a real emphasis on the wellbeing and emotions of their patients and their loved ones, so we are looking for likeminded caring and approachable individuals with excellent communication skills, to ensure that the high standard of care is delivered at all times.
This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours per week, which will be worked across four 10 hour shifts between Monday-Friday, with the occasional Saturday based on rotation.
Requirements
– Registered Nurse OR Registered Midwife
– NMC Pin
– Confident and competent in phlebotomy
– Excellent communication skills
– High standard of patient care
– Polite and professional
– Good IT skills
– Ability to work independently to ensure the smooth day to day running of the clinic and the effective care of patients.
