Job Title: Lead Nurse – RNLD- Adult Care
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + £3,600 car allowance + mileage
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM (flexible start/end times)
Location: National (home-based with service visits)

Compass Associates is proud to partner with a specialist provider dedicated to supporting over 1,000 individuals with Mental Health needs, Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Acquired Brain Injuries. Together we are seeking dedicated Lead Nurses to join their expanding clinical team, focused on delivering quality care and empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
As a Lead Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting Service Managers and teams. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing consultation and support to Registered Managers across various facilities.
- Enhancing the learning and development of service managers regarding physical needs and recognising deterioration signs.
- Managing conditions such as epilepsy, diabetes, and wound care.
- Driving learning initiatives to empower staff and improve service delivery.
- Conducting assessments and making recommendations tailored to the needs of the teams you support.
What We’re Looking For:
- Registered General Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse with active UK NMC pin
- RNLD candidates should possess a background in learning disability or complex settings, both acute or community-based.
- Strong ability to drive learning and development within teams.
- RGN candidates should have experience in acute physical healthcare settings (A&E, acute illness wards, GP practices) with expertise in conditions like epilepsy and diabetes.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle is essential.
