Full Time – 4-day Rota + Intermittent Weekends

£40,000 to £42,000 + Attractive Benefits package

Remit

Compass Associates are delighted to be working with a leading healthcare provider in their search for a Lead Pharmacy Technician for their one of their key hospital sites based in Wimbledon.The 75-bed hospital offers patients cutting-edge facilities including four operating theatres, a five-bed Enhanced Care Unit and Endoscopy Suite as well as Outpatient and diagnostic departments.

The successful candidate will have extensive previous experience working within a hospital setting, with an expert understanding of the day-to-day operations of a hospital Pharmacy department and necessary actions on their part. They will be responsible for leading a team of Technicians and Assistants, shaping the progression of more junior members of staff whilst ensuring the smooth running of the department and dispensary providing high quality patient-focused care.

Requirements

– Registration as a Pharmacy Technician within the General Pharmaceutical Council

– NVQ Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent

– 2+ years’ experience working within a hospital setting.

– Experience in leading, managing and motivating by example.

– Relevant specialist training

– ACT or MMT qualification desirable but not essential.

Location

The hospital is located in Wimbledon, commutable from central London, Kingston-upon-Thames, Epsom, Croydon & Richmond.
