Overview

The Role / Candidate
You will be carrying out a range of ultrasound examinations, ensuring that guidelines are adhered to. You will be delivering a comprehensive ultrasound service, interpreting ultrasound images and providing detailed, accurate reports on the examinations.
You will be working with both NHS and private patients with an established company behind you that will allow you to thrive. You will liaise with referring clinicians and, when required, request Radiologist review of the reports. Further responsibilities include participating in audits and training of other medical staff.
You will be supported by Ultrasound Healthcare Assistants who will diarise patient appointments for you each day. You will effectively manage clinic sessions alongside your assistants to ensure an excellent customer experience. You will be fully supported by a Clinical Regional Lead Sonographer, as well as on site management.
Minimum Requirements
– Experience in MSK, General Medicine, Gynaecology and Obstetrics
– HCPC Registration
– MSc in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent (e.g. DMU or PgD)

There is a salary on offer of up to £60K pa, which is highly dependent upon skills and experience.

Shift Pattern
This is a full-time position, working 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is Monday-Friday, any limitations in terms of hours can be collaboratively discussed during interview.
