Overview
Compass Associates are delighted to be assisting a respected and established behavioral health provider in search for an Nurse Manager in North Carolina.
This facility is designed for children, adolescents and adults for both males and females within inpatient and residential.
The facility offers evidence-based therapies of dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family-based treatment (FBT), as well as additional specialist programs. The team within this behavioral health facility ensures that compassion and supportive culture is in place for those within their care.
Building relationships with the client group is important, the organization likes to make sure that family involvement is equal to this to ensure successful recovery for those within their care. Family therapy and caregiver education is provided to ensure they have the resources to provide support and understanding.
Responsibilities
- Mentor, support and coach the nursing team, ensuring excellent quality of care is being delivered.
- Ensure the nursing team has been trained.
- Assess, treat health concerns and client care is being provided appropriately.
- Provide medical resource for staff as well as providing behavioral support, crisis prevention and management.
- Work closely with the Executive Director on day-to-day nursing staff, unfilled shifts and facility needs.
Criteria
- You must be a licensed RN in the state of North Carolina.
- It is essential that you have leadership / management experience
- Experience in working within a behavioral health facility (inpatient, residential, PHP, IOP)
- Basic Life Support certification is required.
- You must be able to provide exceptional communication skills
Compensation Package
Salary is between $90,000-$100,000.
