Job Title: Occupational Therapist – Neurological Centre

Salary: £29,970 – £36,483 (+ £5,000 welcome bonus)

Hours: 35 hours per week (5 days)

Location: Milton Keynes (on-site)

Overview:

Compass Associates is currently seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team working with individuals who have experienced acquired brain injuries. In this role, you will provide specialised occupational therapy input using a neuro-behavioural model. You will work closely with clients, their families, and a diverse range of professionals to deliver tailored rehabilitation programs that promote independence and enhance quality of life.

Role Responsibilities:

As an Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:

• Managing and prioritising a complex caseload of individuals with mental and physical health needs, under the supervision of a senior Occupational Therapist.
• Conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
• Addressing skill deficits related to self-maintenance, productivity, education, and leisure activities.
• Collaborating with families and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation programs and discharge planning.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in line with the Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) guidelines.
• Engaging with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and achieve service user-centred therapeutic goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy, with current HCPC registration.
• Experience working with individuals with neurological deficits or acquired brain injuries.
• Familiarity with occupational therapy assessments and interventions, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
