JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

HOURS: Full-Time

LOCATION: St Helen’s, Merseyside

SALARY: £42,000 – £46,000 per annum (plus bonus)

COMPANY:

Compass Associates are proudly working with a nationally recognised, industry leading complex care provider to recruit an Operations Manager to manage a team of dedicated Care Co-ordinators and Clinical Nurse Specialists, who work closely together to safely implement personalised care packages for their service users. You will be working for an established company with a unique approach to the delivery of care. The organisation supports service users with long term, life limiting conditions such as acquired brain and spinal injuries, delivering clinical interventions such as tracheostomy care, ventilation management and enteral feeding. The ideal candidate will have experience of overseeing and delivering a healthcare service, be a strong manager of people and have a natural talent for leadership.

ROLE:

  • Establishing and maintaining robust operational procedures to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Efficiently managing the escalation of accidents, incidents, and complaints
  • Work closely alongside the Commercial Team to oversee the safe implementation of new packages of care across the Merseyside Region
  • Meeting budget goals and managing office related costs
  • Supporting and developing the current team of Care Coordinators and Recruitment Consultants, promoting stability and longevity
  • Manage the day to day running of the local office, ensuring that we continue to provide person-centred care
  • Participating in meetings and forums to assess service provision
  • Overall responsibility for the safe service delivery in line with CQC regulations and company policies and procedures
  • After a successful probation period, in which full support and guidance will be provided, you will hold registration with the CQC

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Some experience in complex care is desirable but not essential
  • Experience of managing a healthcare service is required
  • Some experience of care in the community is desirable
  • Experience with the CQC and the new guidelines is desirable
  • Most importantly, we are looking for a strong leader of people, to support development and drive growth within the region

PROCESS:

  • Initial screening call with consultant Ash Collishaw, suitable candidates to be sent for a secondary screening call with recruitment team
  • Interviews will be with Senior Management Team
  • Final stage will be an assessment day
