The Client
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading private hospital, located in the heart of Central London, who are dedicated to the healthcare or women and children. They are the UKs largest private women and children’s hospital with over 50 paediatric beds, a dedicated Intensive Care Unit, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Day Care Facility and 5 state-of-the-art theatres. There are many complex procedures carried out daily, across a range of acute specialities, including Gynaecology & Obstetrics, as well as general and paediatric surgery.
At present, we are currently looking for an experienced PICU Nurse to join their state-of-the-art 14 bedded Paediatric Intensive Care Unit.
The Role
The ideal candidate will have a kind and caring nature, will be an excellent team player, and will be experienced working within a Paediatric HDU and/or PICU setting. The unit is full equipped with the latest technology and cutting-edge treatment, and have an excellent team made up of Specialist Nurses and Consultant Paediatric Intensivists in order to provide the highest level of care to all patients and support their families throughout.
This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hour per week, which will be worked across long days, nights and weekends. You will receive unsociable enhancements for the night and weekend requirement.
In order to be successful with this opportunity, you must be RCN qualified and be registered with the NMC. This Hospital has excellent training and development opportunities, so this position is perfect for someone who is dedicated and wanting to progress professionally.
Requirements
– RCN qualified
– NMC registration
– Experienced working in a Paediatric Intensive Care Unit or Paediatric High Dependency Unit
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Team player
Summary
