Compass Associates are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading independent provider of mental health services. They have opened a brand-new care home in Huddersfield which will provide nursing services for adults over the age of 18 with a primary mental health diagnosis. The service has been designed to meet the needs of people with complex presentations and severe and enduring mental health needs.
The services has a full MDT consisting of Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists Psychologists Healthcare Assistants and support services staff. The aim of the service is to equip people with the skills needed for community living building on the skills they already have and supporting them to develop new ones.
The Candidate
As a Physical Health Nurse, you will lead and coordinate on all aspects of physical health needs. You will support your colleagues and assist with education around physical health and will be responsible for monitoring observations and assessments to identify any actions that need to be address and / or documented.
You will work with the residents to ensure they are engaged with the assessments and health promotion and will be responsible for identifying the deterioration of patients within the services.

Registered General Nurse Qualification
Phlebotomy Skills
Excellent team working skills
Positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
