Registered Manager – Adult Residential – Learning Disability

Location: Clifton, Nottinghamshire

Salary: up to £40,000 per annum dependant on experience

Remit

Compass Associates are working with an adult social care provider who have a number of residential and nursing homes throughout the UK. The company are passionate about providing exceptional care and support for people with intellectual disabilities creating a warm and inclusive environment where their service users can live a fulfilling and independent life.

They have recently acquired a residential service in Nottingham and are now seeking an experienced Manager to join them and take on registration with CQC. The service has 19 places in total and provides care for adults with learning disabilities complex needs and autism.

As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for improving CQC standards and compliance, ensuring the highest quality of care and support to all service users, supervision and training of staff and developing relationships with local authorities and the local community.

Requirements

  • Studying for or qualified NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (full support given)
  • Previous experience working as a Manager in a similar setting
  • Background of working with adults with autism and/or learning disabilities
  • Excellent and in-depth knowledge of CQC standards and compliance
  • Strong people management skills, communicator, team player
  • Clear DBS / CRB
