Are you looking to work to enhance your commissioning skills? Then this could be the role for you! Overview: Compass Associates are delighted to be working with one of the UK’s leading Specialist Care providers who are currently expanding, for their new project. This exciting role involves undertaking all operational responsibility, financial oversight, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Once you have made this care home a success, they plan to grow their specialist portfolio in London, paving the way for future progression opportunities. The successful candidate is someone with a lot of tenacity, drive, and enthusiasm, who can take on the full responsibility as Registered Home Manager. You will lead the Senior Management team driving forward the success of the service ensuring clinical excellence and high site performance. Key responsibilities: – Oversee all aspects of home management, including budgets, quality, and compliance. – Drive occupancy / fill the home in a timely manner. – Ensure individuals receive optimal care and support. – Lead and inspire team members to deliver high-quality, person-centred support. – Implement and maintain best practices in social care. – Continuously develop and improve service delivery. – Connecting with commissioners and relevant stakeholders – Utilize management skills to effectively oversee personnel and processes. Location: The position is commutable from Fulham, Chelsea, Brixton, Battersea, Clapham and Peckham as well as most parts of South and Central London but also very close to the Northern Line. Criteria: – Experience in a management or deputy management capacity within complex care or Mental Health – Active NMC pin and Full Nurse Qualification (RMN or RGN) – Desirable knowledge of social care environment – Extensive understanding and experience in improving the Care Quality Commission ratings and standards – Further education in dementia care is desirable. – Performance driven – Clear DBS / CRB – Able to build new relationships with commissioners.
