Compass Associates are working with a reputable care home provider who gave a handful of services throughout the North East of England. They are currently recruiting for a Registered Nurse to work permanent nights at their large nursing home in Stockton-on-Tees. The home provides nursing, residential and dementia care for elderly residents across 3 floors.
The nursing unit consists of 22 general nursing beds and 10 dementia nursing beds, all situated on the top floor. You will be supported by a Nursing Associate as well as Senior Care Assistants and a Clinical Lead who oversees the day to day running of the nursing floor.
The Candidate
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high quality personal and clinical care to residents within the service. You will be responsible for supervise the care delivery by both clinical and non-clinical staff members and will work closely with the senior team to ensure CQC standards are exceeded.
This is a permanent position, working 38.5 hours per week, nights only. This follows a pattern of 4 nights 1 week and 3 nights the next.
Requirements
NMC registration with no limitations to practice
2 years post-registration experience
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Previous experience working in elderly care / care home setting
