The Client
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading Fertility Clinic, located in West London, who are currently in search for an experienced and dedicated Senior Fertility Nurse to join their close-knit team. Our client is dedicated to fertility and all aspects of women’s health, and are devoted to providing bespoke holistic care to their patients. Although the business is continuing to grow, they have carefully designed their clinic to have a private yet welcoming feel, and they pride themselves on their individual approach.
The Role
The successful candidate will be a crucial part of the nursing team, completing a number of clinical duties including assisting with the monitoring of treatment cycles, venepuncture, assisting with ultrasound scanning, assisting during procedures and recovering and monitoring patients after sedation.
We are looking for a polite and professional individual as you will be a key part of the patient’s journey, coordinating treatment plans, ensuring that patients are educated and supported throughout. My client is looking for someone who is friendly, caring and approachable, to ensure that the high standard of care is delivered at all times. In order to be successful with this opportunity, it is essential that you are clinically qualified, registered with the NMC, have a strong background within Fertility and the ability to perform Transvaginal Ultrasound Scanning.
This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours per week, which will be worked across four 10 hour shifts between Monday-Friday, with the occasional Saturday based on rotation.
Requirements
– Registered General Nurse or Registered Midwife
– NMC registration
– Previous experience in Fertility and IVF
– Able to assist with egg collections/embryo transfers
– Scanning
– Excellent communication skills
– Ability to motivate a team
– Previous line management experience will be advantageous
– Good IT skills
– Ability to work independently to ensure the smooth day to day running of the clinic and the effective care of patients.
Summary
