Are you a Registered Nurse with a background in surgical nursing looking for a step up in seniority?
Darlington’s leading private hospital that treats both private and NHS patients across a range of elective surgeries is looking to hire a Senior Nurse into its surgical ward team.
The hospital features 38 individual patient bedrooms, 2 operating theatres, diagnostic services, an endoscopy suite, and an ambulatory unit treating patients across orthopaedics, ENT, dermatology, breast care, general surgery, gynaecology and cosmetic procedures.
As a Senior Nurse, you will ensure that excellent standards of patient care is achieved consistently. You will also play a key part in ensuring the wellbeing, training and development of the wider nursing and healthcare team. You will have excellent clinical skills and will be comfortable making clinical decisions, acting as an advocate to junior members of the team and deputising for Sister/Charge Nurse.
About You:
- Registered with the NMC
- Private or NHS hospital experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to accurately maintain patient records
- Comfortable leading junior members of staff
- Clinical experience relating to surgical procedures
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Desire to develop new skills
- Committed to providing excellent patient care
