Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist – Neurological Rehabilitation
Salary: £46,148 – £52,809 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week (5 days per week)

Overview:
Compass Associates is currently seeking a dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join a multi-disciplinary team working with individuals who have acquired brain injuries (ABI).
In this role, you will provide specialised occupational therapy input using a neuro-behavioural model. You will collaborate closely with clients, their families, and a diverse range of professionals to deliver tailored rehabilitation programs that promote independence and enhance quality of life.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing and prioritising a complex caseload of service users with mental and physical health needs, potentially acting as the sole clinician with remote supervision.
- Conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Addressing skill deficits related to self-maintenance, productivity, education, and leisure activities.
- Collaborating with families and external agencies to coordinate comprehensive rehabilitation programs and discharge planning.
- Maintaining accurate documentation in line with Royal College of Occupational Therapy (RCOT) guidelines and producing professional reports.
- Engaging with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and achieve service user-centred therapeutic goals.
What we’re Looking For:
- A Diploma or Degree in Occupational Therapy with current HCPC registration.
- Extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation and the ability to manage complex caseloads autonomously.
- Strong understanding of occupational therapy assessments and interventions, along with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
