Overview:
Compass Associates is pleased to be working with one of the UK’s leading healthcare providers to find a Social Worker for a CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) inpatient clinic. You will be part of a passionate and dedicated team working closely with young people aged 13-18 who have a primary diagnosis of mental illness.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex caseloads, conducting social care assessments, facilitating group activities, and supporting these young people in planning their futures. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to act as the Safeguarding Lead, overseeing investigations and ensuring high standards of care are upheld.
Location:
This CAMHS inpatient clinic is based in Crawley, West Sussex, and is commutable from Redhill, Reigate, Horsham, East Grinstead, Burgess Hill, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Guildford, Cranleigh and other surrounding areas.
Working Pattern:
Full-time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. The role offers a healthy work-life balance with 33 days of annual leave plus your birthday off.
Interview Process:
A simple two-stage process starting with an introductory meeting followed by a formal interview.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: Up to £47,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Requirements:
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working with young people, particularly within a CAMHS or similar environment.
- Strong safeguarding and risk assessment knowledge.
