Salary: £29,193 – £31,193

Overview:

Compass Associates is currently seeking a skilled Social Worker to join a leading mental health service in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to supporting children and adolescent clients facing mental health and eating disorder challenges.

As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality social care interventions. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with the MDT to implement evidence-based mental health and social care strategies.
  • Building strong relationships with patients, families, and external agencies to ensure comprehensive support and safeguarding.
  • Providing expert advice on safeguarding issues and contributing to care plans and risk assessments.
  • Acting as the designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care
  • Monitoring patients’ ongoing mental states and parenting capabilities in relation to their mental health.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A degree in Social Work with current registration with Social Work England.
  • CAMHS and inpatient experience
  • Minimum of 2 years working within mental health care setting
  • Eating Disorder experience (desirable)
