Salary: £49,000 – £51,000 + fantastic company benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm)

Location: Central London – on-site only

Overview:

Compass Associates is thrilled to partner with a prestigious private mental health hospital, recognised for over 30 years of delivering exceptional care. We are seeking an experienced CBT Therapist to join their dedicated multidisciplinary team, focused on the specialised assessment and treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related conditions.

In this role, you will manage your own caseload of patients, engaging in individual and group therapeutic interventions using evidence-based practices. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating closely with the wider MDT to ensure the highest standards of care for patients experiencing complex mental health challenges.

You will be working closely with the MDT which consists of a Consultant, Occupational Therapist, Psychology Students, Music Therapists, Drama Therapists, Ward Manager, Charge Nurse, Nurses, and HCAs, and reporting into the Lead Therapist.

Essential Requirements:

  • Post Graduate qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
  • Full accreditation with the BABCP
  • Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience
  • Experience working with adults who have OCD and related disorders
  • Training in additional modalities is desirable but not essential (e.g. in DBT, EMDR, CFT, ACT)

Interview Process:

1 stage interview process – Formal Zoom interview with the Consultant & Head of Therapies. This will include a presentation.
