Job Title: Speech and Language Therapist
Salary: £40,000 Pro Rata, Term Time Only
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours) and Part time (22.5 hours)
Location: Croydon

Overview:
Compass Associates is proud to partner with a leading organisation committed to transforming the lives of children and young people in Croydon. We are seeking a creative and dedicated Speech and Language Therapist to join an expanding therapeutic team, providing comprehensive support to schools and enhancing positive outcomes for young people.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering therapeutic services and support. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of schools, offering high levels of support and consultation to operational colleagues.
- Providing therapeutic advice and guidance to teams to assist young people throughout their educational journey.
- Conducting assessments, setting goals, and making recommendations for therapeutic support tailored to your caseload.
- Developing, writing, and regularly reviewing therapeutic goals for children and young people in education.
- Contributing to the delivery of therapeutic training for staff as part of the Therapeutic Academy, including the Shine Therapeutic model.
- Engaging in regular supervision and CPD activities, and participating in service development initiatives across the organisation.
Working Arrangement:
- Location: Primarily based from the nearest school in your region, with regular travel to other sites as needed.
- Flexibility: Options for both full-time and part-time hours available.
What We’re Looking For:
- HCPC registered with a BSc in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Experience working with children and young people or relevant transferable skills.
- Open to nearly qualified applications.
- A desire to support services through embedding therapeutic practices.
- Experience in teaching, training, or supervision is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A full UK driving license and access to your own vehicle.
