The Role:
Compass Associates is working with Manchester’s leading private Surgical Hospital. The theatre department here is looking to hire a skilled scrub nurse / ODP to work across main theatres.

The hospital specialises in orthopaedics, general surgery, ophthalmology, cosmetics, ENT and bariatric surgery.
You will work closely with the Lead Scrub Practitioner and a variety of specialist surgeons to scrub and circulate for a mixture of surgical cases. You will be fully supported clinically and will be able to develop new skills in areas of surgery you are particularly interested in.
The Candidate:
The ideal theatre practitioner will have previous scrub experience in at least one of the mentioned surgical specialties.
You will have a minimum of 6 months’ scrub experience either in the NHS or private sector.
You will work well within a team environment and will be able to adapt your skillset to compliment the existing workforce.
Requirements:
- NMC / HCPC registration.
- Either NHS or private hospital theatre experience
- Minimum 6 months’ experience in surgical scrub
- Enjoy and excel in a fast paced environment
- Able to be adaptable and to handle a variety of different cases each day
