Job Title: Systemic Family Therapist – Eating Disorder Hospital

Salary: £65,000 per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days)

Location: Ebbw Vale, Wales (on-site)

Our client is embarking on an exciting journey to expand its services in a specialist setting for women with eating disorders. We are looking for a skilled Systemic Family Therapist to contribute to a nurturing environment focused on empowering recovery and enhancing the quality of care.

Role Responsibilities:

As a Systemic Family Therapist, you will be crucial in providing expert systemic family psychotherapy. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Delivering skilled systemic interventions for families of women dealing with complex mental health issues.
• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and developing crisis management plans.
• Offering evidence-based insights to support multidisciplinary care planning and decision-making.
• Managing a complex caseload while facilitating supportive groups for families and carers.
• Monitoring clinical progress through regular reviews of systemic treatment.

What We’re Looking For:

• A formal qualification in Systemic Psychotherapy (Master’s or doctorate level) accredited by the AFT.
• Registration with the UKCP.
• Proven experience in managing a caseload of clients with complex needs, particularly within eating disorder services.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine passion for supporting families through challenging circumstances.
