The Client
Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading private hospital, located in the heart of Central London, who are dedicated to the healthcare or women and children. At present, we are looking for an dedicated Paediatric Urgent Care Sister to join their team. Their specialised Urgent Care Centre offers children age 0-17 fast access to private healthcare for minor injuries. The Centre oversees patients that attend the clinic for emergency consultants, diagnostic tests, wound care and minor procedures.
The Role
The successful candidate will lead clinical practice and ensure the delivery of high-quality nursing care to children and their families. You will take on responsibility for the department, fostering a forward-thinking approach to the ongoing enhancement of patient care through research and evidence-based practices.
The ideal candidate will have a background in Urgent Care and A&E with previous Senior/Lead experience. We are happy to accept applications from Band 6 Senior Staff Nurses who are looking for a step up in their career, or current Band 7 Sister / Charge Nurses who are looking for a change within a well-established hospital. The ideal candidate will have a kind and caring nature, with strong experience in a paediatric setting.
This is full-time position on a 12 month fixed-term basis, which has a highly desirable shift pattern which will be worked Monday to Friday with no nights and no weekends!
In order to be successful with this opportunity, you must be RCN qualified and be registered with the NMC. This Hospital has excellent training and development opportunities, so this position is perfect for someone who is dedicated and wanting to progress professionally.
Requirements
– RCN qualified
– NMC registration
– Strong experience within a paediatrics setting, specifically with A&E or Urgent Care
– Paediatric Life Support
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Proven experience managing a team and supporting junior staff
