Job Title: Ward Manager – CAMHS
Salary: £50,000 – £58,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Overview:
Compass Associates is excited to be supporting the recruitment of a Ward Manager for a private Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) unit within a private mental health hospital located near Putney. This opportunity is with the UK’s leading provider of private Mental Health and Wellbeing services.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape a service that will expand significantly, increasing from 6 to 16 beds.In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of two CAMHS wards, providing leadership, ensuring high-quality care, and fostering a supportive environment for both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a combined nursing team across two CAMHS wards, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care.
- Be a visible role model and mentor, providing clinical supervision and support for professional development.
- Manage ward resources, staffing levels, and ensure effective rota management.
- Oversee patient care plans, ensuring they are personalised, evidence-based, and reflect the needs of each young person.
Essential Requirements:
- Registered Mental Health Nurse (NMC registered)
- At least 2 years of experience in a senior or supervisory role within a CAMHS inpatient setting.
- Experience in staff rostering and managing clinical audits.
