Overview:

At Compass Associates, we are thrilled to partner with one of the UK’s leading and most respected providers of Mental Health and Supported Living services to recruit a dynamic Ward Manager for a specialist rehabilitation service in Walton on the Hill. This service caters to male patients with a primary diagnosis of mental health concerns, who may have a history of trauma, forensic backgrounds, or be stepping down from a secure service.

As the Ward Manager, you will be an integral part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) within the service, which includes a diverse group of healthcare professionals such as psychologists, occupational therapists, and nurses, along with a broader auxiliary support team. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of recovery and overseeing staff across the ward to ensure the highest standards of effective and safe care for patients.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their career, ideally suited for an experienced Deputy Ward Manager or an existing Ward Manager who would like exposure to working in a new setting.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid NMC registration as a RMN or RNLD nurse.
  • Experience as a Deputy Ward Manager or Ward Manager.
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills essential.
  • Hold a clear DBS

Location

Located in the area of Walton on the Hill, this service provides excellent connectivity across Surrey and further afield including Croydon, Redhill and Crawley.
